Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the original Brown Derby Restaurant, located at Wilshire Boulevard and Alexandria Street, showing yellow umbrellas on its terrace, [s.d.]. The Brown Derby restaurant, a single-story building with a domed roof, shaped like a derby hat, sits at center. Its main entrance can be seen to the left of center. A sign above its door reads "The Brown Derby", while a hat-shaped sign sits atop a structure above the roof, also reading "The Brown Derby". A row of yellow umbrellas line the restaurant's terrace, to the right of the entrance. A few pedestrians stand along the sidewalk to the left of the restaurant, while the edge of a brick high-rise building can be seen on the right side of the image.
