Description
Photograph of a view of Los Angeles Harbor showing the completed breakwater as well as Angeles Gate Lighthouse, 1910. The lighthouse is on the end of the breakwater at right and is a tall, light-colored tower with three stories of windows and a small tower on top to house the light. A small fishing boat is pictured entering the harbor near the lighthouse at center. A large naval ship is steaming into the harbor at center, and several other large vessels are inside the harbor at right. On the edge of the harbor behind the lighthouse, one can just make out Warehouse Number One, as well as several other harbor buildings.
