Description
Photograph of an aerial view looking east on Wilshire Boulevard from San Vicente Boulevard, 1923. Wilshire is at center and heads away from the camera before turning slightly to the left. San Vicente goes from the center of the bottom of the image to the center of the right edge. The land in the foreground is mostly empty except for a few scattered houses in the triangle formed by the two boulevards. There are some trees at left, and the dense buildings of Los Angeles are visible in the distance. Compares to CHS-11990, showing the same view in 1926, and CHS-11991, showing the view in 1930.
