Description
Photograph of the Old Southern Pacific Railroad Station on Alameda Street near Commercial Street, Los Angeles, ca.1910-1940. The narrow end of a tall, barn-style longhouse sports both the names "Sunset Lime Co." and "Lumber Yard" surrounding its single window on that side. To the left, a horse-drawn wagon drives along the sidewalk past the broad side of the building and what appears to be its main entrance. The words "Sunset Lime Co." are marked yet again over the doors. Two short sections of picket fence mark the passageway to what appears to be a loading area to the right.
