Description
Photograph of the exterior of Los Angeles City Hall, ca.1890. The structure was built in 1888 and used was as City Hall until 1928 from its location on Broadway between 2nd Street and 3rd Street. A horse and carriage are visible in front of the building. This photograph was apparently taken from the yard of Mrs. Locke's house behind low picket fence across street. A few other buildings are visible at the structure's side and in the background.
