Description
Photograph of crowds inside Hazard's Pavilion, Los Angeles, May 4, 1903. Crowds of people face away from the camera sitting in balconies or on the ground floor of Hazard's to either side of a walkway leading to a stage where yet another crowd faces the camera. The room is decorated in an American flag motive, with a cord suspending two full flags between the balconies. These flags have only 45 stars apiece, however. The Pavilion's ceiling is vaulted and features skylights.
