Description
Photograph of an exterior view of an apartment building designed by Milton J. Black on the corner of Hobart Boulevard and Ninth Street in Los Angeles, ca.1938. The Streamline Moderne-style building is at center and is three stories high. There are several curved walls and open decks that make the building resemble a large ship. An awning covers a balcony at left. Several plants and vines can be seen growing in a planter in the foreground. Two taller apartment buildings can be seen in the background at right. The building was built in 1936.
