Description
Photograph of American steam yacht moving along the sea, ca.1900-1930. At center, the long body of the yacht is seen moving along the calm water. The yacht has two visible masts near its center. The foremast on the left has a smaller beam attached to its side positioned at a slight angle. A long folded sail lies perpendicular with the mast to the right. A wire running from the bow of the ship, between the two masts, and to the stern of the ship can be seen. Several flags are visible hanging from the wire above the ship. At the stern of the ship, a large American flag is also visible extending from the craft. Along the deck, several passengers wearing civilian clothing are seen. Two large lifeboats can also be seen near the top deck. Near the yacht to the right, three small boats can be seen in the water.
