Description
Photograph of a drawing of an exterior view of the residence of H. T. Hazard, 123 Spring Street, Los Angeles, 1875-1905. The house is on a hill at center. It is a two-story clapboard building with a covered porch and a balcony. Two chimneys protrude from the sloping roof. The area around the house is landscaped with a wide variety of trees and bushes, and a small garden is at right. A concrete fence is visible in front of the house, and a dirt street occupies the foreground. Several pedestrians and two horse-drawn carriages can be seen on the street, while several people are visible in front of the house. The lithograph was taken from Thompson and West's book History of Los Angeles County, published in 1880.
