Description
Photograph of early automobiles in front of the California Hospital, [s.d.]. Four cars are pictured positioned along a dirt road in the foreground of the image. The sidewalk and hospital are visible behind the men at right. Rightmost is a strange auto whose rear wheels are more narrowly spaced than its front wheels, while the remaining three cars are visible to the left and faced towards the viewer. All are piloted by doctors, their owners. In the background, a large four-story Victorian-style building is pictured, many of its small windows featuring individual cloth awnings. Trees line the sidewalk which extends into the distance at left.
