Hazel Hurst (Colouris) -- 40 years; George Colouris -- 7 years (adopted boy); Caroline Colouris -- 6 years (adopted daughter). ; Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Emery. Date: 1953-08-28. Reporter: Emery to RW. Assignment: Blind teacher and her adopted children now destitute. 85: In their home at 2840 Theresa St., Long Beach, Hazel Hurst (Mrs. Hazel Hurst Colouris), 40, and adopted children George Colouris, 7, and Caroline Colouris, 6, ask grace at supper table. 73-72-26-53: Hazel Hurst with the two adopted children; she's brushing girl's hairs; getting kiss from kids."
