Nozaki (of Buddhist group); Buddhist priests praying; General views of ceremonies; Firing squad of Perry post 525 American Legion composed of Nisei Veterans.; Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Olmo. Date: 1952-05-30. Reporter: Parker. Assignment: Nisei Rites at Evergreen Cemetery. 43: Bobby Watanabe, 4 & brother Paul, 7 1/2 lay flowers on grave of their uncle, Joe H. Hayashi, Nisei hero of famed 442nd Regimental Combat Team of World War II. Mrs. Neguma Tanouye lays flowers for Gold Star mothers before monument. She lost one son in World War II, another in Korea. Mrs. Frank Yamasaki places flowers for Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary. Reverend R. Nozaki of Buddhist group. Shot of Buddhist priests praying. There were also Christian rites. Firing squad of Perry Post 525, American legion, composed of Nisei veterans. 35: General view". [note: some of these negatives were found in sleeve 11, rather than sleeve 8]
