2 images. Tail section of crashed Air Force plane, 2 February 1958. Neg shows tail section of the C-118; Lieutenant Commander Robert Hubenette (copy) killed in crash.; Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Gray. Date: 1958-02-02. Reporter: Decker. Assignment: Copy art of Robert Hubenette. 71-72: Copy art of Lieutenant Commander Robert Hubenette, 33, pilot of the crashed Navy Neptune. Hubenette, who lived at 1085 South Isabellea, Monterey Park, died in crash. He was 19 when the photo was taken. 91-92: Shot showing the tail section of the C-118 which landed on roof of gas station at 11771 East Firestone Boulevard, across from Norwalk Sheriffs. Photo was taken from atop 40-foot boom of a Smith Brothers Crane which was engaged by the Air Force to clear the wreckage".
