Description
Text continues: "Hate is not brave, it is fear based; hate does not get you respect, it only gets you hate back. It can kill you. Hate will not get you ahead in life, it will only bring you down. Hate will not get you friends, honor, respect, money, or power. Every population group has been the target of hate talk-- African Americans, Jews, gays, Latinos, Asians, white, Armenians, Samoans, mixed race and others. Nationalities and ethnicities have cultures. So do business, occupations, generations, gays, and persons with disabilities. Expect others to be thoughtful intelligent people of goodwill, deserving of respect. The only thing that hate inspires is fear and ignorance. Hate hurts all of us. You can communicate well with a different culture without giving up anything or pretending to be what you are not. Cultural Diversity Month, October 1999." Pink, white, and black text on black and silver background. Poster contains a collage of black and white photographs of men and women. Mounted on foam board.
