Description
Text continues: "7 evenings of films with speakers. This series presents work of outstanding filmmakers from the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas. This is a rare opportunity to view avant garde films by women and to meet and talk with the artists. Filmmakers will share their personal experiences as artists, speak about their films, and help break down the mystique which the 'movie industry' has built up around the filmmaking process. A mailing list and resource center for women in media will be organized during the series."Black text on white background. The center of the poster contains three black and white photographs of women filmmakers between blocks of text. Left and right margins are designed to create a negative film strip motif. Lower half of the poster contains schedule of speakers: Chick Strande, Shirley Clarke, Barbara Linkevich, Jan Oxenberg, Freude, Roberta Friedman, Holiday Temple Jackson, Judy Reidel, Lisze Bechtald, and Fran Morgenstern.
