Description
Text continues: "1994 marks the tenth anniversary of DIFFA, a benchmark we note with great regret and deep pride. Of course, no one engaged in the war against AIDS can be happy that the crisis has grown to today's proportions after 10 years of struggle. Hundreds of thousands of people have died, millions more are infected, and HIV infection grow among those who were once considered out of the scope and path of this thundering, undauntable foe. No cure is in sight. No vaccine seems possible given the enormous complexity of the virus. And America seems to lack the will to overcome its squeamishness about sex to give young people they need to save their lives."White, purple, black, and green text over a gray and white background. Left side of the poster contains a black and white photograph of a woman in a black dress kissing a man's head; above them a black and white photograph of a winged sculpture. Right margin contains white text on green background.
