Description
Text continues: "Have you ever had unprotected sex or shared needles? If so, take the test for HIV. Here's why. By finding out, you can take control of your life. If you don't have the virus--like most who are tested--it is important to learn how to better protect yourself in the future. If the results show you do have HIV, you can take the right steps to fight the virus. Early action can help prevent many illnesses and delay the onset of AIDS. This can lead to a longer and healthier life. Confidential or anonymous testing and counseling are strongly encouraged and available in most areas. To learn more about voluntary HIV testing and counseling, contact the National AIDS Hotline, your physician, or local health clinic." Black and purple text on white paper. The upper half of the poster contains a purple tinted photograph of a multicultural group of people. Advertisement for National HIV Testing Day, June 27.
