Text continues: "Memorial Day 1981, marks the Southern California event that harnesses the adventure of the old west to the entertainment energy of the eighties. The non-stop three day event promises concerts, exhibitions, a carnival, a roller rink, shopping, athletic events, eating, drinking, dancing, fashion shows, and national class cowboys competing for the highest purses.
