Description
Text continues: "I'm revolting. Twenty years ago, on the night of Judy Garland's funeral, New York City cops went about their usual routine of harassing gay-bar patrons. But on that extraordinary night, an unorganized rabble of fed-up drag queens, dukes, radical street queers, and their friends at Stonewall Inn Bar in Greenwich Village began to harass the cops back. They went on a rampaging riot, giving birth to a new spirit and consciousness. Help us reconnect our communities with the radical roots of the Stonewall Rebellion. Come celebrate the 20th anniversary of this strong new light of gay liberation, and help rekindle the flames of radical, counter-culture, lesbian and gay peoples." Black text on pink background. The center of the poster contains a green tinted, black and white photograph of a grimacing drag queen.
