Description

Text continues: "In Washington DC, a city denied democracy, patients are held hostage by the sadistic tyrant Bob Barr a might white supremacist. A powerful medicine marijuana is destroyed while the sick wither and die. What will you do to free the city, to free the people, to free the patients." Multi colored text on white paper. The center of the poster is comprised of a color image taken from the 1968 film, Barbarella, in which Jane Fonda is standing on top of the moon with a rifle in hand. Georgia congressman, Bob Barr's face has been superimposed over Jane Fonda's face. Other figures and planets appear in the background. Satirical poster.

Description ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives is the oldest active Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning (LGBTQ) organization in the United States and the largest repository of LGBTQ materials in the world. Founded in 1952, ONE Archives currently houses over two million archival items including periodicals, books, film, video and audio recordings, photographs, artworks, organizational records and personal papers.
