Photograph of roofing products, Southern California, 1932. "Certain-teed, We Seel Certain-teed Roofing and Asphault Shingles" -- sign above products. "Green Mineral Surfaced, Certain-teed, Certain-teed Products Corporation, Quality Made Certain - Satisfaction Guaran - teed, The label, which is placed only on products of known high quality, is the market's pledge of honest value and [ilg] service. The roofing is the highest quality made. On roofs of all types and in all climates. Certain-teed is giving [ilg] service. Every step in the process of its manufacture is in strict accordance with tried and [ilg]. Before leaving the factory, the product must be worthy of bearing the Certain-teed label. No roofing tests can tell you in advance how long the roof will last. The only safe test is the [ilg] on the roof. Therefore the consumer is entitled to know the name of the maker and his [ilg] there are many inferior roofings on the market, we give assurance to both consumer and [ilg[that we are always willing and ready to stand behind products bearing the Certain-teed label. Sufficient To Cover 100 Square Feet Of Roof Space. Nails And Lap Cement Packed In Center Of Roll; Directions For Laying, [ilg] weather warm this Roofing. Unroll Roofing-inner side down as shown.
