Photograph of Commencement -- earned dog-torate, 1975. "Commencement 11 x 14 full" -- handwritten note on verso. "17. Earned dog-torate -- Christina McCluggage of Bellflower and her dog, Joker were both 'graduated' from USC in February of 1975. Christina received a bachelor's degree with honors in political science. Joker, who attended every class with his pretty owner, received a dog-torate." -- typed note attached to verso. "Christa McCluggage of Bellflower and her dog, Joker, have been graduated from the University of Southern California. Christa received her bachelor's degrees [sic] with honors in political science. Joker, who attended every class with his pretty owner, received his dog-torate degree. (See story.) AW -30- February 5, 1975" -- typed note below first, attached to verso.
