Description
Photograph of a Sunday afternoon on Redondo Beach, ca.1924. The beach is crowded with people, many in bathing suits and still others in fancy suits. Scattered across the sand are several umbrellas and a striped tent. There are people playing in the gently breaking surf, and in the distance, several boats are anchored. There is a tall wooden structure in the upper left corner and another triangular wooden structure with a pulley in the lower left corner.
