Description
Photograph of a view of Castle Rock in Santa Monica from the north, ca.1925. The large, rugged, conical rock is at center and towers over the road that winds behind it at left. There are several smaller boulders on the beach below the large rock, and two small tents have been pitched on the sand. The road is lined with early-model automobiles. There is a man standing on top of the rock, and behind him at left, several large houses can be seen perched on the hillside overlooking the ocean.
