Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Huntington Library and Art Gallery in San Marino, ca.1930. The building is in the background, across a broad and neatly trimmed lawn. In front of the building is a large fountain backed by a tall wall and flanked by twin sets of stairs that lead to doorways. There are two statues near each set of stairs. Between the doorways are tall rectangular windows separated by Roman columns. There is an oak tree leaning into the picture in the foreground, casting a large shadow on the lawn.
