Description
Photographic portrait of people standing on a balcony above a sign advertising "The Booster's Annual New Year's Eve Free Street Dance and Festival" in Redondo Beach, 1926. Nine individuals are pictured on the balcony, five women and four men. The men are dressed in suits, while the women are dressed in identical tunics and crowns. The sexes alternate girl-boy-girl-boy across the line from left to right. Below, a stand that appears to be a food vendor is situated in the lower floor of the building, American flags decorating the interior of the kitchen. A sign up and to the right reads "10 cents" while one to the left reads "Root Beer".
