Description
Photograph of the exterior of the victorian Bellevue Terrace Hotel, a grand hotel on Figueroa Street (formerly Pearl Street) and 6th Street (later site of the Jonathan Club), Los Angeles, ca.1890-1895. At the curb are two horse and carriages. Wide cement stairs lead up from the sidewalk to the entrance. A cement retaining wall edges the well groomed lawn which surrounds the large building. Four large palms flank this side of the hotel.
