Description
Photograph of home of Clara Burdette, before she married Robert, 1125 Sunnycrest and Orange Grove Avenue, Pasadena, ca.1895-1900. The two-story house, which sits atop a rise with profuse foliage all around, was built around 1900 by Clara Burdette's second husband, a Confederate colonel, who willed it to her when he died. A long driveway is visible from bottom right to the left background. Rosebushes, trees, and palms can be seen on both sides of the driveway.
