Description
Photograph of a motorized float at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses celebration, ca.1920. A wide float covered in flowers rides along the middle of a paved street. The float has a structure with columns attached to the backside while two flower covered man figures that seem to be doing track events stand on the front. A small carriage pulled by four lightly colored horses in a row are visible at right while a float with large flags rides behind on the left. A big sign for Carmelita Golf Course protrudes out from a large crowd of people at left while a dense crowd of spectators can be seen at right and into the background.
