Description
Photograph of a close-up view of the exterior of the University Club, on the west side of Hill Street north of Fourth Street near Third Street, ca.1905. The view across the street is partially visible in the plate glass window of the ground floor of the three-story brick building. A metal balustrade forms porches across the 2nd story. Another three-story brick building with front fire escape is at left. Electric wires stretch across the street to supply power to streetcars. Two horses appear to be feeding from a trough at right. Legible signs include: "353, Danziger", "University Club", on umbrella "Hamilton".
