Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Los Angeles from the top floor of the Foy residence on north Figueroa Street looking northeast from Seventh Street, ca.1906. A streetcar and horse-drawn carriages navigate the street, which is lined by utility poles. A vacant lot stands in the foreground with a post-and-rail fence lining its right side. What appears to be a three-story hotel is visible to the right with rosetta windows and striped cloth canopies overhanging regular windows. The city stretches out with high rise buildings in the background. Tree foliage hangs in from the left in the foreground.
