Three large sloth or bear-like creatures can be seen depicted at center. The creature at left stands on its hind legs, the creature at center can be seen on all four legs, and the creature at right rests on its hind legs. They appear to be standing near water. A tree can be seen at right. Other animals are visible in the background, while hills can be seen in the distance.

Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection 1890-1960
Description
The more than 3,600 unique photographs of this collection document the Chamber's promotional efforts during the city's early years. In addition to stock photographs, there are pictures of the elaborate booths and displays that the Chamber prepared for use at state fairs and international trade shows. The photographic collection contains images showing the growth of important municipal enterprises, such as ground transportation systems, aviation, and shipping. In addition there are about 1,000 lantern slides in this collection -- not yet fully digitized.
