Description
Photograph of a view of Vermont Avenue, looking south from Anaheim Street prior to W.P.A construction, Paolos Verdes, 1936. At center, two saw horses block the road, while a lone man stands looking off to the left. Behind him, a group of automobiles can be seen parked in front of a web of paths made through tiered, tilled earth. Corresponds with USC-0-1-1-6534, the view after construction.
