Description
Photograph of the large fan and date palm trees on Hill Street in front of Judge Widney's residence between Fifth Street and Fourth Street, Los Angeles, ca.1890. A fence separates the property from the sidewalk in front. The house is almost totally obscured by the thick foliage of the trees. This was later the site of the Pacific Electric's Subway Terminal Building which opened November 26, 1924.
