Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Hotel Playa in Playa del Rey, ca.1905. The two-story hotel is at center. It has a wrap-around porch and balcony, and rows of large rectangular windows cover the perimeter of the building. The hotel has a flat roof with a fence around it, and a sign bearing the hotel's name is at left. There is a tall flag pole with an unidentified flag over the sign. The land in front of the building is deep sand, marked with tire tracks, while the land behind it is occupied by a tall hill with a road going to the top at left.
