Description
Photograph of a cable-car making its way down Second Street at Broadway, looking west, Los Angeles, ca.1889. A cable-car makes its way down its rails without the use of an overhead cable while a horse-drawn carriage and second cable-car do the same in the distance behind it. Victorian-style houses can be partially seen to either side of the street, a large tree obscuring most of them to the left.
