Description
Photograph of a southward view of the concrete boardwalk in Redondo Beach, ca.1920. The boardwalk is at center and is crowded with people. The left side of the boardwalk is bordered by a series of light-colored buildings, while the right side is bordered by a wide, sandy beach. The beach is full of bathers relaxing umbrellas, and several boats are pulled up on shore. A tall wooden rollercoaster is in the background at right, and two piers are visible in the distance at right.; Legible signs include, from left to right: "Furnished Apartments", "210", "202 The Corawood Rooms Apts", "Sam's Café", and "Giant Dipper 10".
