Description
Photograph of a view of the waterfront business and amusement district of Redondo Beach from the Horseshoe pier, ca.1925. The pier is at center and is crowded with pedestrians. A series of covered benches run along the middle of the pier. A tall wooden rollercoaster is visible in the background at left, and several large, light-colored buildings are in the background at right and center. The El Ja Arms hotel, which was demolished in the mid-1960s, is in the background as well.
