Description
Photograph of North Figueroa at a distance, showing downtown in the background, 1930-1939. In the foreground at right, a hilly field filled with a small sign to the left can be seen. To the left of the field, a small sidewalk is visible. A line of utility poles and lampposts runs adjacent to the sidewalk. To the left of the sidewalk, a wide road can be seen curving to the right. In the background at center, another road can be seen intersecting the street in the background. On both sides of the street, large homes are visible. In the extreme background, parts of the downtown city can be seen. Along the horizon, the city hall building is visible at left.
