Description
Photograph of a view of Venice Boulevard looking east from Lomita Street after construction of storm drain and widening of roadway, 1938. At center, a paved four-lane road extends into the distance where it bends to the right. At right, a cluster of automobiles makes its way away from the viewer. At left, the oncoming lanes are less congested. Farther right, a sidestreet extends up a hill. Compares to USC-0-1-1-354, showing a view prior to improvement.
