Description
Photograph of the interior of Senora's (Mrs. DeValle's) room in the adobe at Camulos which is said to have been the room of Ramona, ca.1904. Ramona was made famous in the book of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson (Jackson referred to an altar in this room). Rugs cover the floor. The room contains a canopy bed (center), a sofa, bookshelves on both sides of the bed, numerous pictures hanging on the wall, and several small tables. The rafters of the ceiling are visible overhead.
