Description
Photograph of the large crucifix and choir loft in the church of Mission San Gabriel, ca.1908. Two vases containing wild flowers are on either side of the small alter above which hangs the figure of Christ on the crucifix. Between two candles on the alter is a sign which reads "Indulgences, mission crosses".... A picture of Christ carrying the cross hangs on an adjacent piller. No furniture except a moveable wooden divider sits on the bare wood floor.
