Description
Photograph of the residence of W. H. Ladd, on hill at Colombia Street and Orange Grove Avenue (later 500 Colombia Street), ca.1905. The large 2-story dwelling perched atop the small hill has a prominent round turret and gable from this perspective. Covered porches on the 1st floor are visible at both sides of the house. A man is standing with a bicycle at right near a small area shaded by striped awnings. Trees, bushes and other plants grow thickly up the hill. A dirt road is in the foreground.
