Description
Photograph of a general view of Kingman, Arizona, ca.1910, populated nearby with Walapai Indians. Numerous windmills and water towers dot the small sprawling settlement. Most of the buildings are one-story tall and constructed of wood, including farm houses, commercial enterprises, and local industry. The undeveloped land in the foreground is rocky with brush. Low mountains or hills in the background form a jagged horizon. Legible signs include: "Kingman Mercantile Co."
