Description
Photograph of the Rio Grande River on the road to the Indian Pueblo of Taos, New Mexico, ca.1889. The calm river winds its way around low hills. A building is visible at the foot of a small butte at right. Tall, dry weeds speckle the grass in the foreground and back over the hills. Low clouds billow in the dark sky overhead.
