Description
Photograph of a three-quarter bow view of a fully rigged ship sailing out from San Diego, ca.1904. The ship is headed to the left of the viewer and is under full sail. There are at least three masts with square sails on all of them. The hull of the ship is dark in color with a light band near the waterline. The head of a crew member can be seen sticking out over the forecastle. The water is calm and a large land mass is visible on the horizon in the distance.
