Photograph of pottery vendors in El Paseo de Los Angeles, October 22, 1930. Three women and a man can be seen in traditional Mexican clothing at center. They are selling pottery and blankets, and three men in suits can be seen shopping at the booth. Two more men can be seen in the background at left. A brick building is visible in the background, and a pepper tree can be seen at center. Pots can be seen on the ground in the foreground at center. A sign on a building at left reads "Loza de Guadalajara Curiosidades Mexicanas Durango".

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
