Description

Photograph of two women crossing a foot bridge in a park, [s.d.]. The small bridge can be seen at center. It has a concrete bed and wooden side raillings. The two women are near the edge of the bridge at center and are looking to the left. Both are wearing long coats and hat. Pepper trees and an assortment of plants can be seen around the bridge. A dirt road runs from the foreground to the background at center.

Title California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960

Description The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
