Description
Photograph of a derelict horse-drawn streetcar at the end of Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles, 1920-1930. The wooden streetcar is at center and is leaning slightly to the right. It has metal wheels and the glass is missing from its windows. A broken strap is connected to the front of the vehicle, presumably the place to which a horse would be hitched. There is a wooden fence behind the car, and a person's head is visible over the fence at left. The roof of a house is visible in the background at center, and the branches of a tree are touching the streetcar at left.
