Description
Photograph of Pacific Electric railway car sitting on tracks near buildings, ca.1912. At center, a large Pacific Electric railway car can be seen in its entirety from the side. The body of the car is rectangular in structure. Along the side of the car, the words "Pacific Electric" are seen, and the numbers "1417" are seen near both ends of the car. On either side of the "Pacific Electric" logo, square doors with four small windows at its top can be seen. At the top of the structure, a long metallic rod can be seen extending to a group of wires above the car. Below the structure, two groups of two wheels are visible from the side. In the foreground, several curved tracks can be seen along the dirt track. In the background, several buildings, columns, and wires are visible.
